The Schönecker Burg , also Schönecker Turm or Eltzer Hof , is a late medieval residential tower in the town of Münstermaifeld in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is a three-story building with a simple Renaissance bay window on the second floor. A gable roof forms the upper end.
history
The exact history of ownership of the late medieval residential tower that has been preserved has not yet been investigated. However, the first owner to be considered was the von Schöneck family of ministers from the Electorate of Trier , who gave the castle its name. Later, the lords of Eltz and around 1654 the lords of Ufflingen acquired possession. In the 16th century, the building was given a Renaissance - Erker down the street.
