The house at Schöninger Strasse 6, 7 is a listed building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the north side of Schöninger Straße in the Sudenburg district . The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Schöninger Strasse 4, 5 to the east .

Architecture and history

The four-story house was built in the late 19th century. The brick building is representative in the neo-renaissance style. The facade is divided horizontally by cornices . There is rustication on the ground floor and a colored frieze on the eaves. The first floor is the main floor with pilasters stressed and Segementbogengiebeln above the window opening. The two outer axes of the facade emerge as flat risalits .

The building is considered to be part of a partially preserved Wilhelminian style street and as a conclusion to the single-storey development from the mid-19th century as significant in terms of urban development.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82113 .
