Schönstedt , also known as Schönstedter Hof , is a former estate that today belongs to the town of Weißensee in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia .

A road leads from the state road 2133 to the hamlet of Schönstedt, which lies in the middle of the fertile field mark of the Unstrut lowlands and the Thuringian basin east of Weissensee between the city and Scherndorf .

history

In 1229 the settlement was first confirmed in a document and the documents archived. The place belonged to the Electoral Saxon Office Weißensee until 1815 .
