The Schüpfbachtalbrücke leads the federal highway 81 near Heckfeld , a district of Lauda-Königshofen in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg , over the Schüpfbachtal on Heckfelder See .
history
The Schüpfbachtal Bridge was built from June 1969 to October 1972. The construction costs amounted to 5.8 million marks. From 2016, the bridge underwent expensive emergency repairs amounting to around 3.5 million euros, which, according to experts, will not be able to avert the need for new construction in the 2020s.
