The bowl moraine is a large moraine in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the north-central part of the Alexander von Humboldt Mountains in the Wohlthat massif , it is located in the middle of the In der Schüssel valley .

Participants in the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher discovered and mapped them. In 1961, participants in a Soviet Antarctic expedition took aerial photographs and named the moraine based on the name of the valley in which it is located.
