Damage ferry is an uninhabited German island between the island of Usedom and the mainland.
It belongs to the municipality Bargischow in the Vorpommern-Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is located between the towns of Anklam and Usedom at the mouth of the Peene in Peenestrom .
The very flat and swampy island consists mainly of deposits of the Peene, from which it is flown with its two estuary arms . Since 1979, the one square kilometer island has been part of the Lower Peene Valley nature reserve (Peenetalmoor) and can therefore not be entered. It is also part of the " Peenetal bird sanctuary from Kummerower See to Schadefähre".
