The Schafalm is a managed hut in the Stubai Alps above the Tyrolean Inntal , in the Axamer Lizum hiking and skiing area .

The hut is located around 500 meters northwest of the base station of the Axamer Lizum at approximately the same height. In contrast to the other huts in the Axamer Lizum, it is mainly designed for summer operation.

A forest path leads from Axams to the hut in 2¼ hours. Here you leave the Adelshof on the left.

Two toboggan runs can be used in winter : A toboggan run leads from Axams through the Axamer Valley to the Axamer Lizum. Since 2016, a path has branched off at the upper end of the toboggan run and leads directly to the Schafalm. The second toboggan run starts at the Schafalm and leads to the Pleisenhütte .
