Gurk Treasury
The former Diocesan Museum in Klagenfurt was founded in 1917 by Bishop Adam Hefter and built up by Otto Rainer on the basis of the Mathias Großer collection. Its original location was the episcopal residence in Klagenfurt. Since 2014 it has been the Gurk Treasury in the historic Provost Courtyard of Gurk Abbey .

The collection includes sacred art from Romanesque to late classicism .
The highlights include:
- The Magdalenenscheibe from Weitensfeld, created around 1170, is the earliest example of glass painting in Austria and depicts Maria Magdalena .
- The Hellin Crucifix (1170/80)
- The round seal of Bishop Roman von Gurk (1131–1167)
- The oldest surviving winged altar in Carinthia from 1423 from the Rangersdorf parish church
- A Lenten veil from the first half of the 16th century from the Maria Bichl church
- The Lenten veil from the parish church in Steuerberg from around 1530
- Carved busts of Saints Augustine and Nicholas as well as the figure of Saint Sorrow from the 17th century from the church of St. Radegund in Wiesen
