Schenhur (also Schanhor ; ancient Egyptian Pa -schen-Hor ) is an archaeological site in Egypt , which is located on the eastern side of the Nile in the Qina governorate about 20 km north of Luxor . The places Medamud , Qus and Koptos are in the immediate vicinity .

Schenhur was in the Theban Upper Egyptian Gau of the Was-scepter . The temple of Shenhur was consecrated since the late days of the gods triad Min , " Isis from Koptos" and the child god Hor-pa-chered , where Hor-pa-chered in Schenhur as Hor-pa-chered-wer-tepi-en-Amun acted.
