Scherpemich is a district of Seelscheid in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .
location
The formerly independent town of Scherpemich is located in the east of Seelscheid on the slopes of the Wahnbach Valley . In the north lies Stein , in the south Gutmühle . Former neighboring towns in the west were Leienkreuz and Kurtsiefen .
history
In 1830 Scherpemich had 36 inhabitants. In 1845 the farm had 73 Catholic and one Protestant residents in 13 houses. In 1888 there were 44 residents in eleven houses.
The settlement belonged to the Seelscheid community until 1969.
