Schewtschenkowe ( Ukrainian Шевченкове ; Russian Шевченково Shevchenko ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Mykolaiv with about 3100 inhabitants (2004).
The after the Ukrainian national poet Taras Shevchenko named village was founded in 1929 and is located in Rajon Witowka 29 km southeast of Mykolaiv on the highway M 14 / E 58 . The village has a train station on the Mykolaiv- Kherson railway line .
