Nicolás Schiappacasse , full name Nicolás Javier Schiappacasse Oliva , (born January 12, 1999 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.80 meter tall offensive player Schiappacasse first lived in the Barrio Cordón and then grew up in La Comercial . He completed his school education at the "Escuela 61 Konrad Adenauer" and then spent three years at the grammar school. He spent the first two years of secondary school on the "Liceo 8", last year he attended the "Liceo 20". At the age of four he started playing soccer in baby fútbol at Nueva Palmira. He then played in Paso Molino for Universal until he was eleven . Through short stages in the youth department of Danubio FC and Defensor Sporting , he came to River Plate Montevideo when he was eleven.
Schiappacasse heard in the Clausura 2015 the squad of the first division club River Plate Montevideo on, he played in the youth teams since at least, 2014. He made his debut with the Montevideans at the age of 16 under coach Guillermo Almada on April 19, 2015 in a 2-0 home win against Juventud in the Primera División , when he came on in the 77th minute for Santiago García . By the end of the season, he played in a total of seven first division games (one goal). In the 2015/16 season he played 17 games in the Primera Division and scored three goals. He was also used eight times (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2016 . At the beginning of 2017, when he turned 18, he was supposed to move to Atlético Madrid , which had acquired the transfer rights in the first half of 2015 at the latest. In July 2016, however, he completed the season preparation in the ranks of the Spaniards. Schiappacasse, who meanwhile also has Italian nationality, was then registered by the Madrilenians of UEFA for the squad for the upcoming Champions League season. In the 2016/17 season he was used five times (one goal) in the UEFA Youth League for Madrid and was part of the professional matchday squad for the first time in March 2017 in the league game against Granada CF.
On August 7, 2018, Schiappacasse was loaned to the second division club Rayo Majadahonda .
National team
On July 25, 2013, Schiappacasse celebrated his debut in the U-15 national team of Uruguay coached by Alejandro Garay in a 4-2 win in a friendly against Peru . He participated with the selection at the U-15 South American Championships 2013 in Bolivia . He has a total of eleven international matches in this age group. He scored two hits. Since 2014 he has been part of the Uruguayan U-17 team under coach Santiago Ostolaza . In this he made his debut on May 13th that year in a 3-0 win in the friendly against Paraguay. He was a member of the squad at the U-17 South American Championship in Paraguay in 2015 , in which Uruguay finished 5th. During the tournament he was used nine times and scored one goal. So far (as of June 5, 2015) it has been deployed a total of 13 times in the U-17. The statistics show him eleven international goals.
