Schieferhof Nägelstädt

The Schieferhof is located at Am Anger 4 in Nägelstedt , a district of Bad Langensalza in the Unstrut-Hainich district in Thuringia . The stately stone building with a hipped mansard roof was built in 1565 by Hans von Germar, Landkomtur of the Deutschordensballei Thuringia . The building has coupled rectangular windows . The portals are in the Renaissance style . To the north is a portal in the form of an aedicula , which is decorated with a cartouche with an inscription and scrollwork . On the side and in the spandrels there are coats of arms , that of Görmar-Knoblauch in the gable . A semicircular barbican is grown in the north . Its wall has round and diamond-shaped openings. Inside there are wall niches for sitting.
