Building description

The high ring wall with loopholes from the 14th century, surrounded by a wide, tree-lined moat, encloses the castle and farm buildings. A stone bridge leads to the castle on the east side. In front of it are baroque stone figures of a Maria (1778) and Johannes Nepomuk (1779). A modern bridge is on the west side.

The cubic, three-story renaissance castle from the 15th and 16th centuries emerged from the residential building of the original castle from the 14th century. It has a hipped roof with a ridge turret and has pointed arched portals from the 15th century and chamfered stone window frames from the 16th century. The coffered ceilings were built around 1600.
