The Magnitot castle in Saint-Gervais , a municipality in the department of Val-d'Oise in the French region of Ile-de-France , was built from the 1780th The castle has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as a Monument historique since 1977 .

History and description

The castle was built from 1780 for Jean-Baptiste Paul le Rat de Magnitot according to the plans of a pupil of Ange-Jacques Gabriel . The two-storey building with a three-storey middle section has arched windows on the ground floor and almost no facade decorations. Inside, parts of the original decor have been preserved.
