Schlossberg (Schwarzenbach)

The Schlossberg is about 530  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Bucklige Welt in Lower Austria . It is west of the Schwarzenbach market , south of Rotte Oberau and northeast of Rotte Schön .

The ruins of Schwarzenbach Castle stand on its northern, conical extension . The field name Schildwacht (historically also: Schiltwacht ) can be found on its eastern slope (in the direction of Schwarzenbach ). There was probably a guard here , like on the Schölderl , so that no one could get to the Schwarzenbach fortress.

It is flowed around by the Oberau Bach and the Schwarzenbach . There it says place (l) .
