The Schofield Peak is a mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises one mile southeast of Mount McCarthy in the Barker Range of the Victory Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after Edmund A. Schofield, a biologist at Hallett Station in the summer season 1964/1964 and on the McMurdo station in the 1967/1968 summer season.
