Frank Scholtysek

Frank Scholtysek (born November 29, 1967 in Paderborn ) is a German politician ( AfD ).

Life

Scholtysek studied industrial engineering at the Lippe University of Applied Sciences from 2000 and graduated in 2003 with a diploma . He works as a freelance engineer and real estate appraiser .

He lives in Berlin .

In the election for the Berlin House of Representatives on September 18, 2016, Scholtysek ran in the constituency of Treptow-Köpenick 3 . With a share of the vote of 23.8 percent, he won one of five direct mandates from the AfD. Scholtysek is deputy chairman of the AfD-affiliated Academic Erasmus Foundation .

Frank Scholtysek rejects the Berlin rent cap . In June 2020, it called up under the Covid-19 pandemic scale pop-up bike paths as illegal and filed a lawsuit against the Senate. In his opinion, the cycle paths would “prevent motorists from using roads due to political arbitrariness”.

Frank Scholtysek calls for voting rights to be restricted. People without a professional qualification should not be allowed to vote.
