The Skånske Lov ( Danish law ) is a legal system from the 13th century. It was valid in Skåne including Bornholm Island , Halland and Blekinge (throughout Skåneland ). It was written in Old Danish between 1202 and 1216 and is one of the oldest written legal bases in Denmark .

The other Danish landscape laws , written under King Waldemar II , also included Zealand law (for Zealand and the southern islands) and Jutland law , written in 1241 (for Jutland including southern Jutland and the island of Funen ).

The Scandinavian law was valid in Scania, Halland and Blekinge until 1683, when it was replaced by Swedish law there. (This area fell after the Peace of Roskilde in Sweden .) The Scanian law is the only legal text that was written with runes. There is still a manuscript of it in the Copenhagen University Library.

The Danish folk tune Drønte mig en drøm i nat has also been passed on with Scena law .
