The Schoritzer Wiek is a lagoon-like bay in the northwest of the Rügischer Bodden , which cuts deep into the Zudar peninsula , the southern tip of Rügen .

The strongly indented bay is about three kilometers long and wide with an area of about 5 km² and opens towards the east to the Rügischer Bodden, the northern part of the Greifswalder Bodden . The small island of Ruschbrink lies in the opening. The Schoritzer Wiek is very shallow, the deepest points are almost four meters. In the south and west the bay is bounded by the Zudar peninsula, in the north by the island of Rügen and in the east by the Silmenitzer Heide peninsula . In the southern part near Zudar is the small island of Tollow .

The towns of Zudar, Groß Schoritz , Silmenitz and Poppelvitz are located on the bay itself . Large parts of the bay, especially in the east, are part of the Schoritzer Wiek nature reserve .

The Schoritzer Wiek is used by professional fishermen from Zudar, but is otherwise closed to shipping.
