Kinky
Schrassig (lux .: Schraasseg ) is a village in the municipality of Schüttringen in the canton of Luxembourg . With 1,032 inhabitants, Schrassig is the most populous place in the municipality. The Schrassig prison is the only closed prison in Luxembourg .
location
The village, located in the Syrtal, is about 13 km east of the capital Luxembourg at an altitude of 270 meters above sea level . Neighboring villages are Oetringen , Neuhaeusgen , Schüttringen and Sandweiler . Furthermore, the Luxembourg – Wasserbillig railway line , part of the railway connection between Luxembourg and Trier , runs directly past Schrassig.
