Schressendorf is a district of the municipality of Plankenfels in Upper Franconia .
geography
The village is about one and a half kilometers west of Plankenfels on the open ground.
history
The administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century made the place part of the independent rural community of Plankenfels. The village chapel was built in 1921. In 1987 Schressendorf had 93 inhabitants.

traffic
A local road coming from the Aufseßer district of Kobelsberg to the south-west crosses the town. It continues in a north-easterly direction to the wasteland of Neumühle and joins the state road St 2191 in Plankenfels . About 200 meters after the outskirts of Schressendorf, another municipal road branches off from this, which leads to the two neighboring towns of Scherleithen and Wadendorf to the northeast .
