Kobelsberg is located about five kilometers east of Aufseß and is at an altitude of 434  m above sea level. NHN .

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the independent rural community of Hochstahl , to which the villages of Dörnhof , Tiefenlesau and Zochenreuth also belonged. In the course of the communal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Kobelsberg was then incorporated into Aufseß together with almost the entire community of Hochstahl, only the village of Tiefenlesau, located about two kilometers north of Hochstahl, was re-incorporated into the town of Hollfeld . In 1987 Kobelsberg had 23 residents.

The state road St 2188 , which passes directly on the south-eastern edge of the town, connects Kobelsberg mainly to the public road network; it leads from Aufseß in the west in an easterly direction to Plankenfels . A municipal road that branches off from State Road 2188 near Kobelsberg leads in a north-northeast direction to the Plankenfels district of Schressendorf, just under two kilometers away .
