The Einöde Dörnhof is a district of the municipality Aufseß in Upper Franconia .

Dörnhof is located about five and a half kilometers south-southeast of Aufseß and is at an altitude of 443 m above sea level. NHN .
history
As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the independent rural community of Hochstahl , which also included the places Kobelsberg , Tiefenlesau and Zochenreuth . In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Dörnhof was then incorporated into Aufseß together with almost the entire community of Hochstahl, only the village of Tiefenlesau, located about two kilometers north of Hochstahl, was re-incorporated into the town of Hollfeld . In 1987 Dörnhof had six residents.

The state road St 2188 connects Dörnhof mainly to the public road network, it runs through the place coming from Aufseß in the west in an easterly direction to Plankenfels . A municipal road that branches off from State Road 2188 at Dörnhof leads in a south-south-west direction to the neighboring town of Zochenreuth, about one and a half kilometers away.
