The school servant house at Julius-Reiber-Straße 3 is a building in Darmstadt .
History and description
The school servant's house was built in 1911. Stylistically, the house belongs to late classicism . The free-standing, gable- free building is a simple structure. A flat two-axis risalit with a triangular gable emphasizes the center. The edges of the building are framed by banded corner pilasters . The original scratch plaster - as on the main school building - has been preserved. On the courtyard side there is a slightly protruding stair tower with a bell roof .
Monument protection
The external appearance of the school servant's residence is largely unchanged. The building is a typical example of the late classicist architectural style in Darmstadt. For architectural and city-historical reasons, the building is a listed building .
