The Schumacherfjellet is a 1230 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In Ahlmannryggen it rises 10 km southwest of the Nils Jørgennutane .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the mountain, carried out a mapping based on aerial photographs and measurements taken by the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE, 1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) made between 1958 and 1959 . It is named after Nils Jørgen Schumacher (1919–2005), senior meteorologist at the NBSAE.
