The Jekselen (Norwegian for Molar ) is a 1,405 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In Ahlmannryggen it rises as the highest point of a small mountain ridge 11 km east-southeast of the Schumacherfjellet .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the mountain descriptively, carried out a mapping based on aerial photographs and surveys of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) made between 1958 and 1959 .
