The house at Schwanthalerstraße 106 is a listed building in the Ludwigsvorstadt district of Munich .

description

The raw brick building in the style of the “German Renaissance” was built for himself in 1878/79 by the architect Georg von Hauberrisser . The four-storey house stands on a slope and has a corner bay window that extends across all floors and is crowned by a hood with a roof knob . The balconies and arbors are provided in the Renaissance style with round arches and corner blocks.

On the building, next to the main entrance, there is a plaque in memory of the composer Rudi Stephan , who lived in the house between 1911 and 1914.
