Black Sun (Original: Black Sun ) is a British documentary film of director Gary Tarn with and after a book by Hugues de Montalembert .
action
The film is about the experiences of the blind author, artist and filmmaker Hugues de Montalembert , who lost his sight through an act of violence. He learned to overcome his despair and go through life in such a way that he saw ordinary things extraordinary. He traveled the world alone and rediscovered the world in a wonderful way. The result is an expressionist work that reports meditatively and opens up a new world of perception.
publication
The film premiered at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival .
