Schweinsteigeralm

The Schweinsteigeralm is an alpine pasture in the Niederaudorf district of the Oberaudorf municipality .

The Schweinsteigeralm alpine hut is a listed building and is entered in the Bavarian Monument List under the number D-1-87-157-127 .

Building description

The Schweinsteigeralm alpine hut is a ground-floor saddle roof structure that was largely built using log construction. The living area is surrounded on three sides by the stable . The building was probably built in the 18th century.

Todays use

The Schweinsteigeralm is bumped , but not served.

location

The Schweinsteigeralm is located in the Mangfall Mountains at an altitude of 1210  m above sea level. NN . north of the Sudelfeld , from which it is separated by the Auerbach and the Sudelfeldpass . It can be easily reached via a private road from Sudelfeldstrasse ( federal road B307 ). Located east in almost direct neighborhood Kelheimer hut and Jackelberg-Alm , west of the Lacheralm and north of the Steinbeis hut and wild-Alpe.
