The Swiss Americanist Society (SAG) (in French : Société Suisse des Américanistes ) is the umbrella organization for Swiss Americanists and was founded in 1949; their aim is to generate better scientific and human knowledge about the double continent. The SAG's publication organ has been the Bulletin or Bulletin de la Société Suisse des Américanistes since 1950 . She is a member of the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences and, since 2004, of the European Council for Social Studies in Latin America . Her library is in the Musée d'ethnographie de Genève .
