Scotia Plaza is a building complex in the Canadian city of Toronto . The 275 meter high building is after First Canadian Place (298 meters) the second tallest skyscraper in the city and also in the country and 25th in North America . It is located in the Toronto Financial District between Yonge Street to the east, King Street West to the south, Bay Street to the west and Adelaide Street West to the north. It is used as the headquarters of Scotiabank .

Scotia Plaza consists of two components:
- The historic headquarters of the Bank of Nova Scotia at 44 King Street West was built between 1946 and 1951 by architects Mathers and Haldenby. The building is 115 meters high and has 27 floors. In 1975 the city of Toronto listed it as a historical monument.
- The modern main building with 68 floors and six underground floors on King Street West, with two smaller extensions. The additions include the historic facades of the former Wood Gundy Building on Adelaide Street and the Dunfield Building on Yonge Street. The building, built by the WZMH Architects , was built between 1985 and 1988. Architecturally, it is similar to the Southeast Financial Center in Miami .
Scotia Plaza is connected to PATH , an extensive underground network of pedestrian and shopping arcades. The building has 190,000 m² of office space and 40 shops. In addition to Scotiabank, the law firms Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Miller Thomson LLP, Cassels Brock LLP and Gardiner Roberts LLP are also located here.
Trivia
During the construction phase, scenes from the film Three Men, Another Baby were filmed on the skyscraper .
