Scott Robert Pye (born January 8, 1990 in Adelaide ) is an Australian automobile racing driver .

Career

Like most motorsport people , Pye began his career in karting . In 2007 he switched to the single-seater racing and was a win eighth in the New South Wales Formula Ford . In 2008 he switched to the Australian Formula Ford. He finished four races on the podium and finished the season in seventh place overall. In 2009 Pye first competed in the Toyota Racing Series , the highest single- seater series in New Zealand. He won a race and finished fourth overall at the end of the season. Then Pye returned to the Australian Formula Ford. He won two races and was third in the championship.

In 2010 Pye moved to Europe to Jamun Racing in the British Formula Ford. He decided 12 of 25 races for himself and won the championship title ahead of Scott Malvern . He also took part in two Benelux Formula Ford races, of which he won one. In 2011, Pye initially competed for ETEC Motorsport on the first four of five racing weekends in the Toyota Racing Series. Pye won a race and finished the season in fourth place overall. He then returned to Europe and competed for Double R Racing in the British Formula 3 Championship . He won a race and was tenth in the drivers' championship at the end of the season. He was the best pilot on the team.
