Scotty Bahrke (born August 4, 1985 in Reno , Nevada ) is an American freestyle skier . He specializes in the aerials (jumping) discipline.

biography

Five years younger brother of moguls -Fahrerin Shannon Bahrke took from December 2002 Nor-Am Cup, the North American continental championship, in part. He made his debut in the Freestyle World Cup on January 14, 2005 in Lake Placid , where he classified as 24th and won World Cup points for the first time. The best result in its inaugural season was a 13th place. He made it into the top ten for the first time on January 7, 2007.

Bahrke subsequently established himself in the midfield. At the 2010 Winter Olympics, he ranked 23rd. A World Cup podium he achieved for the first time on January 29, 2011 when he was third in Calgary . He won the first World Cup competition on February 17, 2012 on the Kreischberg .
