Scumbucket is a band from Koblenz . The band is a side project of Blackmail's guitarist Kurt Ebelhäuser. The band plays a guitar-loving form of indie rock with vocals / guitar, bass and drums .

history

Kurt Ebelhäuser, Dylan Kennedy and Michael Fritsche rehearsed together for the first time in the winter of 1996. After a recording session of six days, the first album Heliophobe was ready. It was released in September 1997. After numerous concerts, the album Batuu was recorded in spring 1998; it hit record stores in November 1998. Shortly afterwards, bassist Dylan Kennedy left the band and was replaced by Guido Lucas . In October 2000 Scumbucket released the album Finistra with the new bassist . The recordings for the follow-up album began in autumn 2001; it's called Aficionados and was released in May 2002. Three years later, the most successful album to date, Kiss than Kind, was released. After this album Guido Lucas got out; He was succeeded by his predecessor Dylan Kennedy. In 2009 Scumbucket released a completely new version of their debut album Heliophobe under the name Heliophobia. The album Sarsaparilla followed in April 2010 .
