Scutellaria sieberi is a species of skullcap herb ( Scutellaria ).
features
Scutellaria sieberi is a perennial subshrub that reaches heights of 30 to 60 centimeters. The plant is more or less upright, velvety tomentose and has no glandular hairs. The leaves are 20 to 65 millimeters in size. The bracts are 6 to 9 millimeters long and longer than the calyx. The crown is cream-colored, 10 to 14 millimeters in size and has no markings.
The flowering period extends from April to June.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 34.
Occurrence
Scutellaria sieberi is endemic to Crete . The species grows in shady, moist rock crevices and rubble on limestone at altitudes from 0 to 950 (2100) meters.
