Seal glacier

The Seal Glacier is a short glacier in the Ellsworth Mountains of West Antarctica Ellsworthland . In the southeast of the Enterprise Hills, it flows immediately north of Parrish Peak in an easterly direction.

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after G. L. Seal, a radio operator in the United States Navy. Up until Operation Deep Freeze in 1966, this had contributed to improving radio communications in Antarctica during four Antarctic summers.
