Sebastián Britos , full name Sebastián Javier Britos Rodríguez , (born January 2, 1988 in Minas ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.90 meter tall goalkeeper Britos started his career from 2009 to early January 2012 in the ranks of Bella Vista . In the second division season 2009/10 he was used eleven times in the Segunda División with the Montevideans and rose with the club in the top Uruguayan league. In the 2010/11 season he ran in 23 first division games, but was no longer used in the subsequent Apertura 2011 in the league. He then joined the Montevideo Wanderers , for whom he completed four matches in the Primera División in the 2012 Clausura . At the beginning of July 2012 he moved to Oriente Petrolero . With the Bolivians, he played 14 first division games and two games in the Copa Sudamericana 2012 . In early August 2013, Liverpool Montevideo signed him . At the club from the Uruguayan capital, he completed a league match in the 2013/14 first division season and was relegated to the team at the end of the season. In the following first half of the second division season 2014/15 he came to nine more league appearances. In the first days of January 2015, his career path took him to Colombia to Cortuluá . He has made eleven appearances in Primera A and three in Copa Colombia . Since the beginning of August 2015 he has been in the squad of Club Atlético Cerro . In the 2015/16 season he did not get beyond the role of substitute goalkeeper for the Montevideans. During the 2016 season he was then used eleven times in the top Uruguayan league.
