Sebastian Ellrich

Sebastian Ellrich (* 1984 in Magdeburg ) is a German stage and costume designer and fashion designer .

Life

Sebastian Ellrich began his artistic career as a costume assistant on various stages, for which he soon realized his own designs. Since 2004 he has been working as a costume and set designer for opera, film, dance and theater nationwide, including at the Schauspiel Köln , Theater Oberhausen , the State Theater in Nuremberg and at the Dortmund Opera . In acting, Ellrich has a closer collaboration with the director Jürgen Kruse , for whom he worked in 2007 for Beat Generation after Jack Kerouac , in 2009 for On the Great Road / Death of Empedokles ( Anton Chekhov / Friedrich Hölderlin ), in 2010 for Das Leben ein Traum (what otherwise) by Calderón de la Barca in Cologne and in 2010 for Everyone by Hugo von Hofmannsthal in Leipzig. In 2011 he worked with director Joan Anton Rechi in Aachen on Rossini's La Cenerentola . Sebastian Ellrich has been dedicating himself to his own prêt-à-porter label since the beginning of 2011 and showed his sixth collection at the Berlin Fashion Week in 2014 .
