Sebastian Graser (born December 8, 1996 in Oberndorf , Salzburg ) is an Austrian ski racer and parachutist . He is largely specialized in the disciplines para-ski and parachute target jumping , in which he has won numerous competitions.

Career

Graser started his career in 2012 as a parachute athlete with the Army Sports Club Wals at the age of 15. Before that, he had been successful as a ski racer in the youth classes for years. In his third para-ski season in 2014, he won his first junior world championship. Two further junior world championship titles followed in the 2015 and 2017 seasons. At the Para-Ski World Championships in St. Johann in March 2017 , he was on the podium for the first time in the general ranking of men as vice world champion.

In his second discipline, parachute target jumping, he won the junior world championship in Chicago in 2016 . Since his basic military service with the Austrian federal ruler , Graser has been an army athlete .
