Sebastian Höglauer

Sebastian "Wasti" Höglauer (* 1990 in Bad Reichenhall or Anger ) is a German musician, composer and arranger .

Life

Sebastian Höglauer grew up in Anger in the Berchtesgadener Land and received his first musical lessons from his father of the same name and his grandfather of the same name. From the age of 9 to 14 he received trumpet lessons from various teachers. From then on he played the flugelhorn in the local music band in Aufham . Then he began to learn drums .

After completing secondary school , Höglauer began an apprenticeship as a brass instrument maker with Franz Weber in Chieming in 2006 , which he completed in 2009. In July 2010, he graduated from the secondary school at the BOS Traunstein and then the concert compartment began studying trumpet at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz with Josef Eidenberger . After four and a half years, he finished his studies without a degree.

In 2008 Höglauer founded the Holzfrei-Böhmische , where he plays drums, and in 2016 the So & So band , where he plays the flugelhorn. He also plays the flugelhorn with the original Egerland musicians .

Höglauer is the second conductor of the Aufham music band.
