Sebastian Reinert (born April 20, 1987 in St. Wendel ) is a German football player .
Career
The midfielder started his career at FC Gronig in Saarland , before moving to 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 1996 in the youth team . He started the 2005/06 season first in the regional league team. During the winter break, he completed the training camp with the professionals and on January 29, 2006, he made his first Bundesliga appearance at the home game against FC Schalke 04 . On May 3, 2006, he scored his first Bundesliga goal in the game against Eintracht Frankfurt . At the end of the season, FCK was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga . Reinert had always been in the starting line-up in the last few games. Reinert also showed good performances in the following second division season 2006/07, but injured himself in training during the winter break and was more often only considered as a substitute after his recovery. On the last day of the 2007/08 season he was in the starting line-up in the game against 1. FC Köln . This game is considered to be one of the special ones of 1. FC Kaiserslautern, because with the 3-0 victory over Cologne the first relegation to the 3rd division could be averted. In the 2008/09 season Reinert played mostly in the second team in the Regionalliga and only came to three second division appearances.
For the 2009/10 season he moved to the second division relegated SV Wehen Wiesbaden . On December 4, 2010, he joined Sportfreunde Lotte (Regionalliga West) after being out of a club on July 1, 2010. After the missed promotion he was without a club. He initially completed a trial training at FSV Frankfurt , but no contract was signed. He later joined the training of FK Pirmasens . When the offer came to play for the Southwest Upper Division, he said yes in September 2011. With the FKP he rose to the Regionalliga Südwest in 2014 and won the Südwestpokal in 2015 .
After a total of seven years in Pirmasens, Reinert is moving to the 2018/19 season as a player-coach for the Saarland district league club SG Scheuert-Steinbach-Dörsdorf .
