Sebastian Stachnik (born June 14, 1986 in Berlin ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The 1.85 m tall attacking player began his career with the Berlin club BSC Rehberge . He then played for Hertha Zehlendorf and Hertha BSC . He won the 2003/04 DFB Junior Club Cup with Hertha before moving to Hannover 96 in 2006 . There he played for the U-23 team and scored 13 goals in the Oberliga Nord in the 2006/07 season. For the 2007/08 season he joined 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He made his debut in professional football on August 13, 2007, when he was substituted on after half-time in the 1-1 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach . In total, he was used eight times in his first year in the second division. From the 2009/10 season Stachnik played for the then regional division Rot-Weiss Essen . For the 2010/11 season he moved to Sportfreunde Lotte .

From the 2011/12 season he played for the Dutch second division team Helmond Sport in the Jupiler League . For the 2013/2014 season he moved to FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin , where he played in the first team until the end of 2014 and then in the second team for half a year. He ended his career at the end of the 2014/2015 season.
