Career
Szimayer learned to play football at VfB Bad Rappenau and in 2005 moved to the youth department of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim via the SV Sandhausen station . After a season in the U-19 Bundesliga, he switched to the then second division SV Wehen Wiesbaden in 2008 , where the striker signed his first professional contract and was initially intended for the second team in the Regionalliga Süd.
On April 18, 2009 Szimayer celebrated his debut with the second team in the Regionalliga Süd in the 3-1 defeat at SC Freiburg II , which was followed by four more appearances in the 2008/09 season.
After the relegation of the SVWW to the third division, Szimayer moved up to the professional squad at the beginning of the 09/10 season and was allowed to complete his first minutes in the third division on matchday six in the home game against Jahn Regensburg , but it stayed with this one mission. In the 09/10 season he was used 29 times and in the 10/11 season 21 times with the second team, for which he scored a total of nine goals.
At the beginning of the 2011/12 season, Szimayer moved to the regional division SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . For the 2013/14 season he joined SV Waldhof Mannheim , the following year SpVgg Neckarelz and for the 2015/16 season he joined the third division club FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . After only one season, Szimayer left Erfurt and joined the regional league team Eintracht Trier. In summer 2017 he switched to Hessen Kassel and signed a 3-year contract until June 30, 2020.
But after only one season he moved on to Luxembourg to the current cup winners and first division club RFC Union Luxembourg in the BGL Ligue . Another year later he joined league rivals FC UNA Strassen .
