Sebastian Unger

Sebastian Unger (* 1975 in Cologne ) is a German lawyer and university professor at the Ruhr University Bochum .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1995 at the Norbert Gymnasium Knechtsteden , Unger began studying architecture at RWTH Aachen University . In 1997 he changed his subject and began studying law at the University of Passau . There he passed his first state examination in law in 2002. He then worked as a research assistant and later as an academic adviser to Peter M. Huber at the University of Munich . After his legal clerkship at the Munich Higher Regional Court and the Second State Examination in 2007, Unger received his doctorate from the Law Faculty of the University of Munich in the same year . The supervisor of the work was Peter M. Huber. In the 2014 summer semester, Unger completed his habilitation in Munich at Huber and received the license to teach in the subjects of constitutional and administrative law, European law, tax law and legal theory.

In the 2014 summer semester, Unger represented Wolfgang Kahl's chair at the University of Heidelberg , and then a professorship for public law at the University of Bochum . Unger has held a professorship for public law at the University of Bochum since the 2015/2016 winter semester.
