Saffet Kaya (born August 14, 1981 in Recklinghausen ) is a former Turkish football player on the position of the striker .

Saffet Kaya is the uncle of the German-Turkish footballer Kaan Ayhan , who played for FC Schalke 04 and Eintracht Frankfurt , among others .

Career

Borussia Dortmund's youth

Among other things, Kaya was active in the youth department of Borussia Dortmund . With the U-17 he won the B-Youth Championship in 1997/98 against the youth from VfB Stuttgart .
