Sebastian Zielinsky (born February 21, 1988 in Cologne ) is a former German soccer player .

Player career

The offensive midfielder began his career at SC Fortuna Köln , for whom he played until 1995. Then he moved to 1. FC Köln , went through all youth national teams from U16 to U18 and was already in the second team as an A-youth until he was called up to train the first team by Christoph Daum after a few games . He played his first Bundesliga game on September 26, 2009 when he came on for Fabrice Ehret in the 83rd minute in the home game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen .

For the 2010/11 season , Zielinsky moved to the second division promoted FC Ingolstadt 04 . In his first year in the second division he made eleven appearances. At the end of the season, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement. In the winter of 2012, third division Wacker Burghausen signed him . There he had ten games and one goal in the second half of the 2011/12 season . For the 2012/13 season he moved to SV Darmstadt 98 , where he played 33 games in the 3rd division.

After a period of non-association, Zielinsky was signed by the regional league club Lokomotive Leipzig in January 2014 . He left the club during the 2015 summer break. In January 2016, he returned to the second team at 1. FC Köln .

In the summer of 2016 he ended his active football career and began training with the police .
