Sebastiano Siviglia (born March 29, 1973 in Palizzi ) is a former Italian football player .

Player career

The beginnings

Sebastiano Siviglia started his career at AC Parma , where he was under contract for three years between 1990 and 1993, but did not appear in any league games. Then he left the first division to sign a contract with the lower class team of AG Nocerina. There he was a regular player for the next three seasons and was able to draw such attention to himself that he moved to Serie A club Hellas Verona . In the first season, however, the relegation was certain and since the direct re-promotion failed in the second division, Siviglia left the club despite a regular place.

Atalanta Bergamo

In the summer of 1998, Sebastiano Siviglia moved to league rivals Atalanta Bergamo , with whom he managed to rise again in the second year. For the 2001/02 season, the defender was loaned to the reigning Italian champions AS Roma , but could not convince with only five appearances in the entire season. A year later, the loan deal with AC Parma, during which Siviglia only played twice, was even worse.

The last few years

After the two unlucky years as a loan player, Sebastiano Siviglia moved to the newly promoted US Lecce , where he was able to contribute to successful relegation as a regular player. Siviglia has been playing for the first division club Lazio Rome since 2004, with whom he was last active in the Champions League in 2007/08 . In the summer of 2010 he ended his career.
