Sebinisso Sanginowna Rustamowa ( Russian Зебинисо Сангиновна Рустамова ; born January 29, 1955 in Dushanbe , Tajik SSR ) is a former Soviet archer .

Career

Sebinisso Rustamowa took in 1,976 Montreal at the Olympic Games in part. With 2407 points she finished third behind Luann Ryon and Walentyna Kowpan and thus received the bronze medal. At world championships she was with the Soviet team in 1975 in Interlaken , 1985 in Seoul and 1987 in Adelaide world champion, she also secured silver with the team in 1977 in Canberra . In 1975 she won the individual title in Interlaken. She became Soviet champion twice: in 1975 with the team and the following year in the individual. After her active career, she worked as a sports official and was, among other things, the first female president of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan from 1992 to 2000 .
