22.13

Secchi is an impact crater on the front of the moon in the Montes Secchi , between Mare Tranquillitatis and Mare Fecunditatis , southwest of the Taruntius crater . The crater is very badly eroded. The wall is open in the south and north.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian astronomer Angelo Secchi .
